The Shed building of Pirelli HangarBicocca hosts the exhibition Architecture as Art. On display are 15 works that have been created for the occasion and arranged in the form of an atlas, to illustrate the themes and subjects involved in the new responsibilities of architecture in the 21st century.

The architects involved are Studio Albori, Maria Giuseppina Grasso Cannizzo, Studio Mumbai, Lacaton & Vassal Architectes, Rural Urban Framework, Carrilho da Graça arquitectos, Josep Llinás Carmona, Rural Studio, El Equipo Mazzanti, Amateur Architecture Studio, nArchitects, Michel Desvigne, Mosbach Paysagistes, and Atelier Bow-Wow.

Architecture as Art is part of the XXI Triennale International Exhibition, an event on art, design and architecture spread out over different locations in Milan. The 2016 edition has the title 21st Century. Design After Design and is the first to be organised in 20 years. With a single ticket you get access to all exhibitions.
