The Museo Civico di Storia Naturale in Milan hosts the exhibition La Terra Vista dal Cielo (The Earth Seen from the Sky), dedicated to the work of French photographer and environmentalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
The exhibition is a story in pictures of our planet through 103 large size colour photographs. They are part of a collection of the most beautiful landscapes in the world photographed from above, with the purpose to witness the beauty and to preserve it by constant monitoring.
From the oceans to the peaks of the mountains, from the African savannah to the Antarctic glaciers, and from volcanic craters to the African deserts, these photographs attest to a deep respect and love for the Earth.
Please note that the opening times of the exhibition are slightly different from the opening times of the museum: Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:30 to 19:30.
