Bruno Munari has used art as an original form of expression. Even before the graphics, design, pedagogy and publishing, art has guided his creative genius.
The exhibition Munari Politecnico at the Museo del Novecento in Milan is the story of a multifaceted creator, that of his role in the Italian and European art over the course of the 20th century, and of the connections that led him to be a protagonist of many eclectic artistic movements.
The works in the exhibition come largely from the collection of Bruno Danese and Jacqueline Vodoz, who in the role of friends, collectors, publishers and industrials have supported and encouraged Munari for decades.
