Museo Civico di Storia Naturale

Good To Know

The Museo Civico di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum) is the oldest civic museum in Milan with its current building dating back to the late 1800s, a striking red stone building with hints of neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic styles, designed by Giovanni Ceruti.

The museum is located within the leafy grounds of Giardini Pubblici, a public park situated in the historical centre of Milan near Corso Venezia. It features six display areas that cover everything from the history of mankind to the study of paleontology (with real dinosaur skeletons to view) and zoology.
